FISAN

FISAN has carried the taste of acorn-fed Ibérico from Guijuelo to the world's finest tables, with the patience of a family that cures every ham for years and the quiet pride of a house that, since 1920, has treated fine food as an honest way of caring for people.

Behind every piece there is a family story that Fidel Sánchez began in 1920 in Campillo de Salvatierra. Today, under the direction of Eva, Florencio and Javier Sánchez, the third generation, FISAN remains true to a philosophy that unites tradition, innovation and absolute respect for the product. Moreover, the house was a founding member of the Guijuelo Designation of Origin Regulatory Council. Over time, its acorn-fed ham has earned honours such as the Superior Taste Award and a gold medal at IFFA Frankfurt. Therefore, when we think about communication for a brand like this, we focus on telling its story with warmth and on showing what truly sets it apart.

Food communications agency for FISAN

As the food communications agency for FISAN, at Bacana we start from a simple idea. A century-old brand does not need to reinvent itself; it needs to be told well. For this reason, we work alongside FISAN by listening first, understanding its family history, its bond with Guijuelo and its artisanal way of crafting acorn-fed Ibérico. As a result, every message comes from something real, and we share it in a warm, human tone that never feels forced.

First of all, we put the story in order. Through strategic consultancy and brand communication, we decide which stories deserve to be told and to whom, so the brand voice stays consistent. After that, the story reaches the press. In fact, thanks to ongoing media relations, FISAN’s milestones —its 2020 centenary and new facility, its vintages and its international awards— find their place in the culinary publications that truly matter. Likewise, every appearance reinforces the brand’s position within fine gastronomy.

Social media and brand events with flavour

Meanwhile, the digital world calls for closeness. That is why, on social media and through creator partnerships, we translate FISAN’s craft into content people understand and enjoy, from the perfect cut to the reason behind a slow cure. In addition, we collaborate with creators who share the same love for honest, well-made food. In this way, the brand speaks to new audiences without losing its family essence.

On the other hand, some moments only make sense in person. So we design events and experiences and run FISAN’s activations at the sector’s biggest dates, from Alimentaria to congresses such as Madrid Fusión and international fairs like TUTTOFOOD Milano. In addition, our own multimedia production team records and edits those activations and the interviews that happen there. In this way, every tasting or vintage launch becomes living content for the brand’s social media.

Collaborations with great haute cuisine chefs

In the same way, we drive collaborations and co-branding projects with brands that share its values of quality and tradition. We also work hand in hand with great chefs, such as the Torres Brothers, Diego Guerrero, Ricard Camarena and Rocío Parra, key voices who understand the product and bring it to their tables. Ultimately, we help FISAN keep growing in Spain and abroad, true to what it is: a family that has cared for every ham, for over a century, as if it were the first.
